About Anthony Yim, President

Anthony has been successfully selling, creating new sales territories and building strong customer relationships for the past 12 years. During these 12 years, he has been involved in sales and sales management in the highly competitive Telecom Industry with companies such as Sprint, Nortel Networks and Infonet Services Corp. He has held positions ranging from Account Executive to Global Account Manager to Channel Sales Manager. Anthony has sold to a wide range of customers from Small Business People to Fortune 500 Executives. His selling activities have included making hundreds of cold calls every week as an Account Executive, strategically selling to and managing large multinational accounts as a Global Account Manager, and managing reseller relationships as a Channel Sales Manager. With this wide range of experience, Anthony knows what it’s like to be selling on the front-lines of business and how to do it successfully.

 

Prior to embarking on his sales career, Anthony spent almost 5 years as a Shipboard Officer in the U.S. Navy. During those 5 years, he learned strong leadership and management skills while operating on the high seas. This experience, in which he traveled to over 15 countries, gave him a zest for adventure and an appreciation of teamwork, relationships and leadership from a truly unique perspective. This experience also taught him the value of people working together to achieve a common objective and how to seek excellence under pressure. 

Today, at Paradigm Leadership, Anthony is focused on helping companies improve the performance of individuals and their organizations. He is committed to helping people grow and realize their fullest potential. 

Anthony brings his knowledge, experience and passion to organizations that need to develop more powerful sales people and create greater sales success. He does this by drawing on his extensive knowledge and understanding of human performance, psychology, selling skills and building winning relationships with customers. Anthony understands what it takes to sell successfully, lead and win in today's competitive marketplace.

When not working, Anthony enjoys hiking, fly fishing and camping in the great outdoors as well as skiing and an occasional round of golf.

Anthony and his wife, Christine, live in Fairfield County, CT where they enjoy the constant action of raising two young boys. Anthony is the founder and president of Paradigm Leadership, a training and consulting firm based in Ridgefield, CT which delivers sales empowerment programs such as The Relationship Edge in Business.

Anthony is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a degree in Economics and Rutgers University with a Masters degree in Business Administration.
